About Marjan<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It seems that my mother felt sooner than everyone else, that I would enter the world of Art, A big reason for me to put my mother surname “Zarrabi” in my social medias (In Iran all children only carry their father surname in certificates). But, my mother was the first person I talked to when I lived in her womb! So you can find me by this complete name ” Marjan Zarrabi Samie”

When I was a child, my mother sang me a song in Guilaki, a lovely language spoken in our region.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c Miss Marjan is you<\/span><\/p>\n

Who has paint on her shoes<\/span><\/p>\n

God willing, you would be healthy\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhy on the shoes?\u201d I always asked. But she just laughed.<\/span><\/p>\n

As time went by and I grew older, the vicissitudes of my life brought me onto the path of art. Art allows me to understand my mother song. Art is always with me.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was born in Rasht, Gilan, in the North of Iran, besides the Caspian Sea in summer of 1982. During my life, the world of art has been a dominant and profound influence on me. Since childhood, it was always a prosperous moment discovering a sense of nature\u2019s fabulous creatures and phenomena from an artistic intuition. I explored my ability to originate means of life from unseen angles of the globe, picturing unexplored universes, and representing them in the texture of real creatures such as insects, trees, stones, rainbows, fingerprint, etc. I also dived a little in Persian miniature works which helped me to explore the culture of Iran, where I belong to, in an artistic language mixed with a caricature representation. Then I employed my artistic achievements for induction of ideas and views from the bitter humor of social challenges, human right, and modern life as well as native stories and folklore. I gained a little accompany of music and natural sound to dream journeys when creating my paintings. A world of imagines which can pull mind into mysterious leading to illustrate or paint sole\u2019s observations by symbolic appearances and patterns instead of custom vocabularies.<\/span><\/p>\n
